Acceptance of Orders: All orders placed are confirmed by e-mail after submission, no order should be deemed to be accepted without being confirmed, all orders are fulfilled subject to these terms and conditions.
Currency: All orders are sold in Pound Sterling our website will convert the shown quotes into the currency of your choice, and the check out will be in Pounds sterling. (Your credit card providers will charge the order in your local billing currency)
Value-added tax and duties: VAT is included and is charged on all sales to residents of the United Kingdom. Purchases made by customers outside the United Kingdom will be invoiced less VAT (UK VAT at 20%) and duties or as agreed.
Shipping/Carriage: Each product page states if the product includes or excludes shipping costs and the estimated lead time, the lead time depends on the destination and product ordered. * 2nd man delivery and Home assembly may unfortunately not be available in all areas. Kerbside delivery is normally included to most countries and addresses within Western Europe if the delivery cost to a destination would be different than quoted it would be confirmed and agreed in writing before the order would be put in production. Fittings and 2nd man deliveries: All the 3rd party specialist companies we work with are fully insured, any issue regarding delivery or installation would need to be taken up with the fitting or forwarding company directly we will, of course, assist in any way we can.
Storage: Any storage arrangements would need to be agreed in writing before your order has been collected from the factory. We can will store your order for free with our forwarders for 7 days, after this, a storage fee of normally £ 20/m3 per week will be added to your invoice.
Damage in Transit: After leaving the factory all goods are insured by our forwarder against loss and damage, if you do receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation so that an insurance claim can be made against the forwarder’s insurers. If you receive a battered parcel, note the fact on the delivery note, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open and inspect a package in the presence of the forwarder, make sure that you sign for it as "unable to inspect goods on delivery or similar to warn the forwarder that a claim may be forthcoming, for kerbside deliveries or orders with a value over £500 we require that any damages are noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery, all other damage claims must be reported to us within 5 days of taking delivery
Payment terms: You can settle your order directly online or over the telephone, at +44 (0)20 7823 9090 we accept most credit and debit cars, checks, and transfers. If you would prefer to pay a deposit with the final payment before delivery this can be arranged on request if paying by cheque, transfer, or debit card.

Guarantees: We're so confident in the quality of the Clei collection that we are more than happy to offer a lifetime guarantee on all our wall bed mechanisms. In the unlikely case you should encounter problems, send our customer service team an email with a description and photographs of the damage, and we will then arrange for a repairer or make an exchange. The warranty period begins on the date of delivery and is limited to 15 years. Our Lifetime guarantee covers the mechanism issues that have occurred despite proper use and handling, upholstery, mattresses 5 years and electrical components and gas pistons are guaranteed for 2 years, find our conditions here below.
- Proof of purchase is the responsibility of the purchaser.
- Normal 'wear and tear', including staining, excessive soiling, abrasion, tears, and burns are excluded.
- The cracking of wood due to changes in room humidity or heat is excluded.
- This guarantee is non-transferable.
- To fulfill our obligations under this guarantee, we have the right to choose the most cost-effective solution. This could involve fixing the issue, replacing the unsatisfactory component, or partially refunding the original purchase price.
- In the event of an exchange or full refund, faulty goods will be returned to our ownership.
- Claims under the guarantee are limited to the original purchase price of the unsatisfactory merchandise.
- This warranty excludes non-domestic use and goods taken outside the area we service the UK or the European Union.
- The validity of this guarantee may be affected if the product has been adapted, abused, or altered.
Guarantees for Stain protection are offered under separate terms and conditions.
We will not be liable for any direct or indirect financial loss or damage arising from damaged, defective, or wrongly delivered goods.
Returns and Refunds: Return policies vary depending on the product. For non-custom-made goods, we accept returns within seven days after you have been taking delivery of your order. Goods must be returned at the customer's expense in its original packing and in an unused condition to the original point of dispatch, on request, this can be arranged by us.
Refunds would be arranged within 30 days after we have received the goods, less insurance, and freight costs, and subject to inspection as to their suitability for resale.
Upholstered or fitted furniture where you have specified a particular fabric or colour are always custom made orders and can generally not be returned (wardrobes and wall beds are always custom made to your specifications). Customers based outside the EU will also be responsible for any customs charges that might be charged when returning goods. If you wish to make a return please contact us by Telephone +44 (0)20 7823 9090 or email returns@clei.co.uk for a return authorization code, returns are not accepted without this code.
Cancellations: Cancellation of non-custom orders must be done before collected from our factory, custom made orders can only be cancelled before put in production. If you wish to cancel your order please e-mail cancellation@clei.co.uk
Payment and Retention of Title: Under normal circumstances, goods must be paid for prior to dispatch. If for any reason, goods are agreed to be shipped prior to clearance of payments, title in the goods shipped belongs to us, until payment in full.
Confidentiality: We undertake to exercise all reasonable precautions to keep information supplied to us by customers strictly confidential. We do never supply mailing information to third parties.
Applicable Law and Courts of Jurisdiction: All transactions undertaken through this website are governed by English Law and any legal actions arising out of such transactions shall be subject to the English Legal processes and under the jurisdiction of English Courts. These conditions do not supersede statutory rights under the Sale of Goods acts but are designed to clarify the principles and procedures by which we operate.
